Signed, limited edition (one of 50) giclee print of my Great Wave off North Berwick (after Hokusai) illustration.
Image size is 40x30cm, framed it’s 53x43cm.
I carried this image around in my head for a few years – I love Hokusai‘s Great Wave off Kanagawa, and sometimes when we’re out rowing in rough seas I picture our boats in it. So I’ve finally made my version. Mount Fuji is replaced with North Berwick Law in the background, and the fishing boats are replaced with our coastal rowing skiffs (Boatie Blest, North Berwick and Dunbar clubs feature in this one).
Please note, the framed image is a mock-up because I haven’t worked out how to photograph through glass – my frames are actually nicer than the mock-up. They’re slightly textured, and made of wood and glass. Your print will be numbered, titled and signed on the print as well as on the mount.
I also have a camping mug, ceramic mug (small 5oz or standard 10oz), and a tea towel of my Great Wave illustration. And there’s another coastal rowing print, if you’re a fellow Skiffie!
The images on this site are RGB, so your print will differ slightly to what you see due to screen calibration and colour mode.
Gift wrapping can be added at the cart. I use coloured kraft paper and paper ribbon (entirely recyclable). I’ll also write your message in one of my greetings cards.
