We is just me, really, Helen Wyllie. My website address is: www.wylliecat.co.uk and I’m based in Haddington, East Lothian.
What personal data I collect and why
The shop will collect your address for obvious reasons, and ideally your phone number because some couriers text delivery notices. I’m not going to use the data for anything other than fulfilling your order.
If you’d like to join my newsletter, that would be fab though. Generally, I send out one email per year, to let folk know when my calendar is ready. One day I might send another, you never know, if I do something exciting!
What rights you have over your data
If you shop on this website, you can request to receive an exported file of your personal data and you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Wylliecat payments are managed by WooCommerce.
What data does WooCommerce store?
By default, WooCommerce retains:
- What products a customer ordered and when
- Name, e-mail address, and phone number provided by the customer
- Billing (and optionally: shipping) address entered by the customer
- A note about payment method used by the customer
This information is stored in BlueHost’s database.
How do we collect data?
Our site allows you to pay for orders using an automatic payment gateway that securely requests information from customers and relays it to a third-party payment processing service, e.g., a credit card processor or PayPal. A payment gateway allows a third-party payment service to:
- Verify the customer’s billing information
- Verify if funds are available
- Transfer funds from the customer to Wylliecat
- Send confirmation of payment to me
Does wylliecat.co.uk retain credit card information?
No. By design, customer’s credit card number and security code are never stored on our website. The payment gateway gives this sensitive information directly to the payment processor. The payment gateway ensures credit card data never enters or passes through my database.
