Lost in the Lammermuirs, somewhere above Spott
This illustration commemorates my friend’s puncture.. somewhere in the Crystal Rig wind farm in the Lammermuirs, above Spott. Some of the scene actually began life in an illustration for a book I made for the composer Alasdair Nicolson. I made the moody autumnal cycling scene for my 2021 calendar. I’ve made enamel mugs with the image for those intrepid explorers who like to take a hot drink along.
