Bridge to Nowhere

I’ve always loved this bridge to nowhere in Belhaven. Really useful when the tide’s at exactly the right point… perhaps not so useful at other times, hence its colloquial name. It allows us to walk across the wee river mouth, on to the sweeping bay. I decided to draw it with straight lines to give that feeling of the sand blowing out to the shore, accentuating perspective. The print is 30 x 40cm and available in my shop.

This is a mock-up of the print, because I haven’t mastered photographing glass. The real print will be signed, numbered and titled.
