Baillie Gifford, Edinburgh International Children’s Book Festival

Baillie Gifford asked me to create a set of illustrations showing Edinburgh and its wildlife for the Children’s Book Festival in Edinburgh. The images appeared in large format around Charlotte Square, as well as in adverts and on merchandise.

This illustration of Salisbury Crags was on two metre tall panels, divided into five sections, and used to create a reading area.

A version of this illustration is available as a print.

Portobello’s beautiful beach with gull, oyster catcher and starfish.

I was asked to create an image of a cobbled Edinburgh street with my fox in it (previously to be found running around in the snow at North Berwick Law), so I chose the beautifully curved Circus Lane.

A version of this illustration is available as a print.
