This is a selection of my commissioned illustration. Sometimes it’s part of a broader design project; other times purely an image.

I was commissioned to create the East Lothian Council’s Christmas card, to feature a local landmark – “yes please no problem” says I with my Bass Rock obsession! I ventured out and included Tantallon Castle, another of my favourites, and the pink footed goose because they fly home for Christmas. I’ve been so pleased with the response it’s received – The East Lothian Courier tweeted that it was their favourite card of 2013, and it’s also been tweeted by Historic Scotland and the Sea Bird Centre, among others.

I took part in the Caledonian Challenge (54 miles of walking within 24 hours) and created this wee illustration to encourage sponsorship from friends. Much to my surprise, I absolutely loved the walk and didn’t really live up to my illustration – I was the annoying team member who was still cheerful in the middle of the night!
